As an artist, I believe in order to lose yourself completely in your work, you must master yourself emotionally and intellectually.
The focus of my work is human in today’s world and their truth.
Wai Santy was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. She grew up in Medan – North Sumatera, before she moved back to Jakarta to pursue her college education in Communication Design. After graduation, she worked as creative director for various foreign companies in the retail and commercial sector. Today, Wai lives in the island of Bali with her little family, and she paints – a lot.
